There are a host of social events organised by the Association and you should do everything you can to get involved in them. This is one of the best ways of ensuring you stick at your chosen career.

Annual Dance
Your chance to get the good gear on and take your other half out for a posh night out. This event is always held in a quality hotel in the centre of Glasgow with the format being a Dinner Dance. A Saturday night some time in March/April is the usual time slot in the calendar but watch out on this page for confirmation of where and when as it becomes available.

Annual Awards Night
Our Annual Awards Night takes place at Queens Park Bowling club. We usually invite along two guest speakers. This is widely regarded in the Association as the best social function of the year. A night not to be missed.

At the Awards Night, the Glasgow Association presents three awards; the Willie Davidson Award for the member appointed to the highest ranking national final, the Charles Faultless Trophy for the most promising young member and the Tom Wharton Bursary awarded to a promising referee to attend the Dallas Cup in USA

Golf Day
Each year Whitecraigs Golf club kindly hosts the budding golfers of the association. It gives an opportunity for some to dust off the golf clubs and all to catch up at the 19th hole!

Training area nights out
It is not all formally held nights that Glasgow have. On regular occasions the training areas get together and hold a night out.....any excuse really. Another reason to go regularly to your local training area.
