We are delighted to announce that we will be supporting Erskine as our charity partner for the 2016/17 season.

Erskine cares for over 1,000 residents each year. Their homes provide veterans with the companionship of like-minded people.  Erskine not only cares for veterans – they care about them.


2016 – SFAR Glasgow Charity Awards Dinner

Thanks to everyone who attended this year’s Glasgow Referee Association Awards Evening and well done to all of our award winners. Special thanks go to our table sponsors Nolan’s Solicitors and Paul Alford of Digital Managed Print Services.

This years Awards dinner will be a charity event, were we hope to raise money for our chosen charity for the season “Erskine” as well as the presentation of the following awards:

  • Willie Davidson Award (Best Referee in Minor Grades),
  • Tom Wharton Bursary Award (Award presented to potential Cat 1 to allow them to travel to the Dallas Cup)
  • Charles Faultless Award (Referee Appointed to the highest National Cup Final)

The Guest Speakers: 

The guest speakers for the night are Bill Copeland and Archie MacPherson.

Tickets:

Tickets are priced at £40 for ‘listed referees’, £35 for all other categories and £30 for guests.

Other social events include the annual golf outing, organised by Robert Cruickshank and an annual charity cycle.
