Welcome to the official website of the Glasgow Referees’ Association.

In this site you will find regular news updates and information for the largest Referee Association in Scotland.

The Association has been established since 1945 and now has well over 600 members.  We seek to encourage new members through our extensive new training classes, while all the time providing a professional environment to allow the development of members at all categories who strive to officiate at the highest possible levels in the game. We are proud of the achievements of all our members across all categories from grassroots to professional football.

All members are encouraged to attend one of the following Training Venues on a weekly basis, 7pm starts:

  • Williamwood High School (Wednesday)
  • Scotstoun (Wednesday)
  • Crownpoint (Tuesday)
  • Lochinch (Summer, Wednesday)

There are many opportunities for all of our referees to maintain and improve their levels of fitness and continuously develop.

A dedicated group of development advisers and observers are out every weekend checking on the progress of our up-and-coming referees.

If you have a story you would like to feature on this site, visit the Contact page for details on how to get your story on the website.
